American Red Cherry Kiln Dried

A striking red colour, popular for doors and furniture making. Thinner sections can be prone to sap. Typically available in lengths of 2.8 / 3.1 metres.

American White Ash Kiln Dried
Thicknesses Available: 25.4mm, 38.1mm, 50.8mm, 63.5mm, 76.2mm, 101.6mm
Density: 670 kg/m³
Similar grain to White Oak, but whiter in colour and more cost effective. Machines and paints well. Used for furniture making and skirtings. Not suitable externally. Supply may be limited to Emerald Ash Borer Beetle.

American White Oak

Our most popular American hardwood, American White Oak is more of a yellow colour than European Oak. Higher width average and more availability in longer lengths than European Oak.

A fantastic, stable and cost effective hardwood. Used for all sorts of internal applications including doors and kitchen manufacturing. Paints and machines well. Not suitable externally.

A lovely, dark American hardwood. Supplied in the more select Premium Grade as we find it has better yield than traditional FAS Grade. Our most expensive hardwood that is used for furniture making typically.
