Prime European Oak Kiln Dried
Thicknesses available: 26mm, 33mm, 40mm, 52mm, 65mm, 80mm
Density: 700 kg/m³
Supplied in Prime grade, European Oak has a slightly higher moisture content than its American counterpart, and is more of a pale biscuit colour. Favourite for furniture makers. Typically, available in fairly short lengths e.g. 2.6 metres and fairly narrow board average of about 130m.

Waney edge, Pippy European Oak Kiln Dried

Density: 700 kg/m3
Available in 26mm only, these boards are full of character with some lovely medullary rays and pippy features.

European ‘Colour No Defect’ Steamed Beech Kiln Dried
Thicknesses available: 25.4mm, 38.1mm, 50.8mm, 63.5mm
Density: 710 kg/m³
A cost effective timber with a good density and machining properties. Typically used for doors and kitchens.

Dark Red Meranti Kiln Dried

Density: 550 kg/m³
Joiners favourite: a Malaysian hardwood that machines well, fairly hard wearing. Used predominantly for doors and windows.

Less sap, with a higher and more consistennt density compared to typical Meranti.

A fantastically stable hardwood with good widths and lengths. Only available up to 50mm.
